The Huntsville Depot Museum, built in 1860, is one of the oldest surviving railroad depots in Alabama and a landmark in North Alabama’s 256 area code. Once used by Union soldiers during the Civil War, the depot is now a museum filled with exhibits of rail history and local heritage. Known as one of Huntsville’s most haunted spots, visitors often report eerie sounds and ghostly presences on the old platforms.
